Overview

Our teachers are an integral part of our success at Grade Expectations Learning Centres. Since 1993 we have insisted on employing only the most qualified staff. Ontario certified (B.Ed.), TESL certified, and Microsoft certified teachers comprise our staff of over 200 teachers across our over 50 centres.

Providing dedicated and qualified staff is paramount to our philosophy. For this reason, we have employed certified teachers (B.Ed.) since 1993, and continue to do so today. Their professional training allows them to effectively create and follow detailed lesson plans and evaluate progress and success. Ontario certified (B.Ed.) teachers also understand the theory and practical approach to teaching, learning styles and are knowledgeable of the Ontario curriculum.

Our varied and versatile staff range from English, to physics, to chemistry teachers, and also consists of teachers who are bilingual in languages such as: Punjabi, Spanish, and French. Our professional staff of certified (B.Ed.) and TESL certified instructors understand how to create a learning environment to facilitate students' learning and achievement of their goals.

Keys to Success

Our teachers are carefully chosen from hundreds of applicants. Each teacher must complete an initial interview, a skills assessment series of tests, and a second interview to be considered for a position. We are careful to be thorough in this process, and to check references and certification documents.
